The Minnesota Walleye Alliance, along with the MN DNR, worked to reclaim a pond used to raise Walleye fingerlings. The pond had become over-run with rough fish including bullheads which are detrimental to harvesting the fingerlings in the fall. Walleye Alliance members set, checked and emptied nets used to capture the bullheads and separated the walleye into holding pens which were later stocked into area lakes. |

Walleye Alliance members supplied release bags filled with water to keep the fish alive while the participant wait in line at the weigh scale. |
| The MN Walleye Alliance purchased a prototype cannon used for hatching walleye fry. The cannon has been an improvement over the current system. | |
